Paul left New York in search of gold in the hills of California. What he found was worth more: his voice. Paul’s unique style brings back a time when music that mattered was seen and not just heard. His dedication to performance has put him and his band head and shoulders above the pool of bands in Los Angeles. There is no one that sounds like Paul. You may have heard bands that remind you of his music, but there is no other voice or musical style that encapsulates what he does. Alternative dark new wave was a genre coined by Paul; it fits. You can hear most of what you love about the 80’s in Paul’s music, but it is not confined that era.
Paul’s music has been placed in movies, films, and most recently, has three of his songs featured on the upcoming HBO series The Girls Guide to Depravity. Paul has been nominated for artist of the year and song of the year by the LA Music Awards, listed in the Hot 100 Unsigned bands list by Music Connection magazine, and has been featured on more than 100 worldwide radio stations. His second album’s release was sponsored by hot Los Angeles based clothing line Modern Amusement and Paul continues to wear the brands clothing and accessories.
Paul is a grass roots artist, working only with close friends, who have been the backbone in his success.
