"CELLO SONGS" (Cinik Records), the new album of British singer SARAH JANE MORRIS, is available in traditional stores, on iTunes and other digital platforms. Ten songs for voice and orchestra arranged and conducted by Enrico Melozzi and peformed by the CINIK CELLO ORCHESTRA, an ensemble entirely made up by cellos and specifically designed for the voice timbre of the singer.  In "CELLO SONGS" Sarah Jane Morris performs both original compositions and songs written by Tracy Chapman, Tom Waits, Ennio Morricone, Pino Daniele, Damien Rice, Claude Debussy with the extraordinary participation of Dominic Miller (guitarist for Sting), Danilo Rea (piano), Ian Shaw (London jazz singer) and Fabrizio Bosso (trumpet).
This is the tracklist of "CELLO SONGS": “Fast Car”, “Alleria”, “Love is pain”, “The Blower’s Daughter”, “Illumination”, “She Always”, “Migratory Birds”, “Blue Valentine”, “Moonlight”, “Mother of God”.
Two previously unreleased songs are also presented in the album:" Mother of God", written together with Enrico Melozzi and Johny Brown and "She Always", written by Boy George especially for the English singer.
The album will be presented live at the Casa del Jazz in Rome, located in Viale di Porta Ardeatina 55, from November 23 to 25.
The disc was produced, arranged and directed by Enrico Melozzi for Cinik Records, executive producer Valentina D'Ignazio. The entire album was recorded at Cinik studios in Rome, mixed by Enrico Melozzi, Vincenzo Schiavo and Sarah Jane Morris and mastered by Fabrizio De Carolis at Reference Studio in Rome.
