Viva i romantici – “Il Sogno” (distributed by Artist First) the new CD and DVD recorded live at the sold out gig in Milan during the “Viva i Romantici Tour 2011” on 3 October and interspersed with a brief music history not just about the band Modà, has been available in stores since a few weeks.  Both the CD and the DVD also contain the unreleased song “Anche stasera” in the live version. Viva i romantici – “Il Sogno”, directed by Gaetano Morbioli, is not only a live DVD, but a documentary that describes the past life of the band Modà: interviews with those who got to know them closely and places that were background to their past, so that we can get to know the band better and learn more about the band that has achieved the dream. The Cd and DVD are wrapped in a precious digipack which contains a photo booklet with the most beautiful pictures of the backstage and the show.
This new work comes after the resounding success of the diamond disc “Viva i Romantici”, for six weeks in first place among the best-selling albums ever, and the second most sold in Italy in 2011 just behind Vasco Rossi (source: GfK Retail and Technology Italia).
Modà is composed by Francesco "Kekko" Silvestre (vocals), Enrico Zapparoli (acoustic guitar), Diego Arrigoni (electric guitar), Stefano Forcella (bass) and Claudio Dirani (drums). In 2010 the band's career took off with the huge success of the two singles Sono già solo e La notte, the awards ceremony at Wind Music Awards, the Venice Music Awards, and the sold out of La Notte Tour”.
The consecration for Modà arrived in 2011 when they won second place at the Sanremo Festival in the VIP category with Arriverà , and sold 330,000 copies of “Viva i romantici”.
Among the many confirmations of the success of Modà, the sold out of the “Viva i Romantici Tour”, the recent award as Best Italian Act at the MTV EMA 2011, the awards at the MTV TRL Awards 2011 and the Wind Music Awards 2011 (4 awards) .
