1) The Moon! Introduce yourself to the RadiostarTV friends!  Hello RadiostarTV, we are The Moon from Udine and we are: Spino (guitar and vocals), Charles (guitar and vocals) Piotre (drums) DEN (bass)
2) Why did you choose this name?
Because you can always see the moon in the sky but, have you ever listened to It? ... We all look at the moon, but nobody has ever listened to it.
3) Tell us about your artistic career, ups and downs included.
The band got together in 2008, and since then we have been writing and playing together. At first we were playing in bars and pubs, now, our video: "ROSE IN THE LAND OF TEARS is on Rock TV, and "TG1 NOTE", a competition for upcoming bands organized by RAI. We are currently achieving many important results. RadiostarTV is giving us great satisfaction, and so we believe in it!
4) What is the genre that best represents you? Was it easy to establish yourself with your music in Italy?
We play '60s British rock, but we want to deliver current emotions. Nowadays music sung in English is more appreciated, until a few years ago it was difficult to promote it. This is an important reason that really drives us!
5) Do you like to experiment to get new sounds?
We like to play and rehearse, the rest comes by itself. We never decided to experiment by deciding to do so, it all comes as natural and simple as possible. We like it that way.
6) Tell us about you. Describe one another.
Spino and Charles are the looks and the British humor. Piotre is very passionate about playing and making music, he has got an enviable record collection. Then there's Den, which is the glue of it all, sounds, decisions and initiatives. He is definitely the perfect bass player, technically and temperamentally.
7) What excites you more: the audience's warmth or a masterful execution of one of your songs? Why? The audience's warmth of course. A song that evokes emotion and excitement is thousand times more 'than a song performed to perfection that does not transmit anything.
8) What are your plans for the future?
We have some contacts to play some important concerts. But first of all, we play because we like it and we like having fun or ,better, playing music makes us feel alive!. Whatever comes our way is not forced, it has always been like this so far. We have always used 100% of our resources. This really involves the people.
9) Tell us about your best experience when promoting your songs.
I would say they are two: ROSES IN THE LAND OF TEARS broadcast on RockTV, on TG1 and RadiostarTV with "Pronto chi Kanta?", together with this interview. They are a source of energy boost for us.
10) A taste, a sound and a fragrance that describe your music.
A cake, but I do not know the taste yet. The sound is that of a carriage passing in a street lit by lanterns at the end of 1800. As for a fragrance I would say mandarin, because more or less everyone likes it!
