1) Controressa! Introduce yourself to the RadiostarTV friends. Hello to everyone, we are Sir-E and KrazyFriz, two rappers born in 1989, we come from the province of Rovigo and in 2006 we decided to join forces to form this band, i.e. ControRessa. 2) Why did you choose this name? The name stands for "against the masses." We try to express ourselves through our way of being and above all through our music, trying to get away from the daily routine and the typical influences (from the world of fashion, music, etc. ..) that year after year take hold among the people, we want to get noticed for our originality.
3) Tell us about your artistic career, ups and downs included. We started as solo artists in 2003 with many "homemade" demos that have never been released, let's call them microphone training. Then in 2005 we recorded a demo together, and there was a buzz. In 2006 "Il Piacere del Rapper" was released, a free-to-download mixtape that proved successful on the web. In 2007 the first official record "Doppio Gioco" was released and achieved a great success mainly due to the single "Un Giorno Come Tanti" which was also performed at the RoxyBar, on which occasion we were interviewed by Red Ronnie. In 2008 the abum "La Promessa" was released, which contains many songs addressed to social issues, in fact, with the singles "White Death" (which denounced the deaths at work) and "30 Aprile" (in which we also speak about drug-related problems) the album has been really appreciated, partially also thanks to the collaborations with artists from the United States, rapper Ox and r'n'b singer Nilaja. In 2011 "è tutto FALSO" came out, with a completely different sound from the previous one. Electro, sometimes funk, dance, but still rap. In this case the driving single was "Easy Drink", a summer song great for "partying" which, during the summer of 2010, was played in many different venues and local beaches.
4) Do you like to experiment to get new sounds? Of course!"è tutto FALSO" is a mixture of sounds (rap, funk, dance, inside there is also the official metal remixed version of "White Death"). We think it's important to try new sounds.
5) What plans do you have for the future? First of all promoting our new album ""è tutto FALSO", mainly through the live gigs, we have also collaborated to the film "Polesine Bastard "of Taiant Pictures which was shot in the areas of our province (and surroundings), for which we have written and recorded the official soundtrack with a video that will be out before Christmas.
6) Tell us about your most successful experience when promoting your songs. Definitely the one when we were promoting "White Death", where we talk about an important topic which is too often overlooked. When the single came out it took very little for it to become very talked about, during the live shows it was very much appreciated, and we sometimes still play it, years later.
