He writes songs, He sings, produces and plays in three bands (Subsonica, Motel Connection, Krakatoa) that carry out very different projects. He wanted to be Jimi Hendrix and Silver Surfer, but today he is more than happy to be Samuel Romano, the most electronic voice of Italy and one of the most creative minds related to the contemporary music scene. With two successful tours and a European tour coming up, the release of his new cd with Subsonica Eden, described as "the album of rebirth and reinvention", Samuel Roman is currently promoting and presenting his first book “Elettrica Vita" (Electrical Life NT) , written together with journalist Marco Garofalo. In ElettricaVitA the singer from Turin speaks about himself like he has never done before. He reveals us how he writes a song, what the trick is not to repeat oneself and how technology has rewritten the rules of the game and the boundaries of imagination. He also speaks of his neighborhood, his block at the outskirts of Turin, about the beating he both took and gave back, about his passion for rugby as an everyday gym. So it is not just a book of music, he has indeed put pen to paper memories and experiences matured both in life as in his profession, to share them with his fans. The result is a mix of autobiographical anecdotes first of all, with names / things / people he met and lived. But also reflections on the 'job' in music from the '90s to today, how it has changed, how it was done and how (according to him) it should be done now. There is also a surprise for the readers, that is a proper narrative part , with an previously unpublished story entitled Angelo guerriero (Angel Warrior NT), where Samuel expresses his creativity. Who knows if this will be the first of many books for the chameleon Samuel Umberto Romano!
