The funniest Italian writer and the most eclectic guitar together in a new and original artistic project poised between poetry and music. Stefano Benni and Fausto Mesolella present "Ci manca Totò" a surreal live show where Mesolella's guitar, leitmotif of the concert, accompanies the sarcastic and imaginative readings of the writer and his vocal performances. The very nature of the format, but also the excellent characteristics of the two artists, create a unique and constantly evolving show, to a large extent based on improvisation and interaction. On some occasions a surprising Benni shows himself wearing the shoes of a singer, in an extremely personal style raging from rap to melodic music, while a distinguished Mesolella accompanies him, adapting himself from time to time to the preferred style of the writer. Among the previously unreleased songs presented, there is a song written in honor of Fabrizio De Andrè and one about the unforgettable and fascinating figure of the master of comedy Antonio De Curtis, aka Toto, with outstanding lyrics hanging between irony and melancholy. There will also be some new songs by Fausto Mesolella, whose first solo album ”Suonerò fino a farti fiorire” was released March 2012. On tour from June 15, 2012
