The project was founded in 2009. Davide Verde and Guy Costanzo, back from a previous experience with the band Primaluce, decided to start a new project. The band took its name from the work Something Device by the contemporary American Artist Bruce Nauman. The band turned the Something into a conceptual V. The V stands for Violence, Victory, Five, Fifth (in ancient roman), but, most of all, the letter symbolizes freedom because its shape reminds a flying bird, a gull. They chose the introspective, oriental oriented personality of Fabius Shiva as keyboards player. Johnny Stones became the drummer. The band starts to record its first songs at Crisma33 Studio in 2010: My Favourite Loser (The first videoclip), Hush, El Eternal Caravan and The Perfect Man. After one year, two new members join the project: the drummer Francesco Stinga who replaces Johnny Stones, and the guitar player Francesco Wood Capasso. The band starts to record its first EP CALLING EUROPE, at Giacomo Salzano's Studio (Vipchoyo Studio). Trying to do it right is the first song, the EP will be out in September 2011. The previous name of the band was Primaluce. Primaluce were selected four times (on five) for the TIM Tour Contest, a very important national contest organized by TIM in collaboration with Red Ronnie, Rock Tv and Sony (About Rock Records). The recordings between 1999 and 2003 gave birth to the first venture: Raw Material, a collection of different demos. The band took part to a lot of TV and radio events: Demo by Radiouno RAI, Televomero, Telelibera 63, Canale 8, On the Road and Database by Rock Tv. Primaluce were included in the Encyclopaedia of Neapolitan pop rock by musical critics Marengo and Pergolani. They were finalists in several musical contests as Sonora, Three Days of Peace and Music, Giovani Suoni, Today I'm Rock and Rockgame.it.
